play day mondays

Mondays are a time when a group of us gets together and the kids play while we moms hang out... our newest edition to the group is mino. i call it mino mondays around here because penelope and i have the privilege of watching mino on mondays. here are some pictures from the this past monday when we all were hanging out at our place.

penelope was trying to play with mino, such the helper...

i was bummed i didn't have the camera out when i flipped mino on his tummy for some "tummy time" because she laid down with him to do her tummy time, and they both started laughing. she loves to help hold his bottle and make sure he has his pacifier... hopefully she will be this helpful and loving when her little sister comes around :)

The Great Pumpkin Patch

saturday we headed up to bates nut farm to select our pumpkins... penelope had a great time climbing through all the pumpkins trying to find the very best to take home.






It took some convincing but once she was in the jump house it was hard to get her out! she had a great time running full speed and wiping out :)

and fed the animals... i thought this one was going to kiss her :)

it was the perfect Fall day and we had a great time. perhaps we will make another visit but with a costume... if we can ever decide what she should be for halloween.

last saturday i had the pleasure of watching kaden (kara and dan's little boy). although we all had a great time, it gets pretty exhausting chasing after two toddlers who are going in different directions... my hats of to those of you with twins! apparently kaden likes to wrestle- here are a few shots.






I am pretty sure kaden won the match- and no children were harmed in the process... all smiles.

La Jolla

david, penelope and i went down to la jolla last saturday to take a look at the seals... well there weren't too many seals to look at but we had a great time anyway. grandma mavany, aunt lea, marc and stanley all joined us.


i got a little tired, so penny and i switched places :)
